Fighting the evil factions from within. Vanguard Sound's "Guerrilla Soul" utilizes "Sonic Weaponry" to commit acts of "Sonic Subversion" against the commercial commodification, artistic subjugation, cronyism, favoritism, and inauthenticity ubiquitous to what was once the underground club scene.

This record marks a period in my life wherein I myself was invited to join the "brotherhood" but declined. And thus paid dearly.
Rapid rise suddenly halted in a seemingly unexplainable manner.
My story is not unique to me. And I am a very small fish.
Dave Chapelle, Lauren Hill, DMX, Angie Stone, Katt Williams, Buckshot, and many other gifted Black artists have left clues as to what really goes on behind the veil of the music/entertainment industry's fake façade.
The truth is "out there." Literally and figuratively.
